Rovo Cam Privacy Policy

Rovo Cam is a guided camera that helps you compose portraits, poses, food, drinks, products, travel moments, and everyday photos. We keep the core camera and editing experience on your device.

1. Data We Process

Camera frames and photos: used to show composition guides, preview camera looks, capture photos, and save the result when you choose to do so.
Photo library content: used only when you choose a reference photo or save a captured photo.
Local settings: such as language, selected look, daily free save usage, and Pro entitlement status, used to provide app functionality.

2. On-Device Processing

Rovo Cam processes camera previews, composition guides, filter previews, and saved photos locally on your device. We do not upload your camera frames or photos to our servers.

3. System Permissions

Camera: used to display live composition guides and capture photos.
Photo Library: used when you choose a reference image or save a captured photo.
Photo Library Add: used to save photos to your library after you confirm the action.

4. Local Storage and Keychain

Rovo Cam may use UserDefaults and Keychain on your device to store preferences, daily free save usage, and Pro entitlement status. These values are used for the app's functionality and are not used to track you across apps or websites. Some Keychain data may remain after the app is uninstalled because of Apple's system behavior.

5. Purchases

Rovo Cam Pro purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment details. Apple manages billing, renewals, refunds, and purchase history. You can restore eligible purchases from the Pro purchase screen.

6. Third-Party Services

The current version does not require an account, does not include advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not use data for tracking. We do not sell or share your photos.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete captured photos from the Apple Photos app. Removing Rovo Cam deletes its local app data; Keychain records may require additional time or system handling to be removed. Apple manages App Store purchase records.

8. Children's Privacy

Rovo Cam is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new update date.
