PixSafe Privacy Policy

Welcome to PixSafe (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). PixSafe helps you clean hidden location, EXIF, capture time, device and camera information before sharing photos, and can mask visible private details such as faces, QR codes, addresses, phone numbers and sensitive text. We care about your privacy and keep the core processing experience on your device.

1. Data We Process

• Photos you select: used only to scan privacy risks, remove metadata, mask visible details and create clean copies.
• Photo metadata: including GPS location, EXIF, capture time, device and camera information, used only for local detection and cleanup.
• Generated exports: saved to your photo library only when you choose to export, without overwriting the original photo.
• Language preference and purchase status: used to remember app settings and Pro access.

2. Local Processing

Photo metadata cleanup, visible privacy risk scanning, masking and clean-copy export are handled on device.

3. System Permissions

• Photo library permission: used to choose photos for cleanup or scanning.
• Photo library add permission: used to save clean copies after processing.

4. Third-Party Services

The current version does not require an account, does not include advertising SDKs, and does not sell or share your selected media with third parties.

5. Data Deletion

Original photos remain in your photo library. Exported clean copies can be deleted from the Photos app. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored runtime data, while App Store purchase records are managed by Apple.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
