HiDev Privacy Policy

HiDev is a release and sales workspace for developers. This policy explains how the app handles information when you use work records, iCloud sync, App Store Connect reports, and purchases.

Work records

App details, ideas, tasks, feedback, people, iterations, releases, and redemption code assignments that you enter are stored on your device by default. You can export work records from Settings. Exports may include feedback text and recipient names, so keep exported files secure.

iCloud sync

Only when you enable iCloud sync, work records are synced through Apple's private CloudKit database across devices signed into the same Apple Account. Apple provides this sync. App Store Connect API private keys, cached sales reports, and full redemption codes are not synced through HiDev's CloudKit. Disabling iCloud or changing accounts can affect access to synced records on other devices.

App Store Connect and sales data

To connect sales reports, you provide an Issuer ID, Key ID, Vendor Number, and .p8 private key. HiDev stores these credentials in the device Keychain and uses them only to request sales and finance reports directly from Apple's App Store Connect API. Reports are cached locally. HiDev does not upload your private key to a developer-operated server. You can reconfigure the connection in the app.

Redemption codes

Full redemption codes you import are encrypted with a device key held in Keychain. Recipient and batch records are part of your work records. Avoid entering personal information that is not needed for your workflow.

Purchases

Apple processes the HiDev Pro one-time purchase. HiDev uses StoreKit to verify and restore access. We do not receive or store payment card details.

Analytics and tracking

The current version includes no third-party advertising or behavioral analytics SDK and does not track you across apps or websites. Apple and your device may process App Store, iCloud, and system diagnostics data under their own policies.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell your work records, sales reports, or redemption codes. Data is sent to Apple only for iCloud, App Store Connect, and purchase features you use. You can export some work records from the app. Deleting the app or device data may remove information stored only on that device.
